International Outrage Grows: Activists and Analysts Condemn US-Israeli Strikes on Iranian Civilians

As reports continue to emerge from the recent US-Israeli aggression against Iran — including deadly attacks on civilian infrastructure such as schools and hospitals — prominent human rights activists, geopolitical analysts, and political writers from Lebanon, France, and Italy have issued strong statements of condemnation. They have highlighted the deliberate targeting of children, infants, and medical facilities as war crimes and profound violations of international humanitarian law, while expressing deep solidarity with the Iranian people and confidence in their resilience.

1. Lebanese-French Human Rights Activist Condemns Targeting of Children and Leadership

Dr. Violette Daguerre, a Lebanese-French human rights activist, has strongly denounced the recent Zionist-American aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as part of a broader pattern of “Zionist fascism” seeking dominance over West Asia through force and violence.

She highlighted that, from the very first moments, the attacks deliberately targeted civilian facilities, including a girls’ elementary school in Minab, resulting in the deaths of more than 160 children. The aggression continued with the martyrdom of senior commanders, most notably the revered Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

In a moving statement, Dr. Daguerre offered her deepest condolences and profound sorrow for the immense loss and the pure souls who were unjustly taken. She expressed hope that these martyrs would serve as a source of comfort for the grieving and a guiding light promising victory and severe retribution against the aggressors. She praised the Iranian nation for standing firm against oppression with unwavering faith and resolve in defense of its legitimate rights to a dignified life based on truth and justice.

2. Italian Geopolitical Analyst: Attacks Outrage Global Conscience

Marco Pondrelli, an Italian geopolitical analyst and editor of Marx21, has expressed outrage over the “vile attack” against the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying it shocks the conscience of all peoples of the world.

Pondrelli described the killing of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei as shocking, while the deaths of 170 young girls — killed in a place that should symbolize protection and the future — tore at the heart. He condemned the bombing of schools and hospitals, including Gandhi Hospital in Tehran, as not only contrary to international conventions of war but to humanity itself.

In these days of grief, Pondrelli conveyed his deepest solidarity to the Iranian people and President Masoud Pezeshkian, expressing confidence that “the strength of your great people will defeat this vile attack and contribute to the building of a new world.”

3. Italian Political Writer Strongly Condemns Massacre of Children and Attack on Hospital

Giulio Chinappi, an Italian political writer and analyst, has issued one of the strongest condemnations of the US-Zionist military aggression against Iran, particularly the atrocities committed against civilians, children, and medical facilities.

Chinappi described the killing of 170 innocent little girls at an elementary school in Minab as “a horror that words can scarcely describe.” He emphasized that the victims were children, not combatants, and were entitled to safety, education, and life itself. He called the massacre not only a human tragedy of immense proportions but also a grave violation of international humanitarian law and basic human conscience.

Equally shocking, he said, was the bombing of Gandhi Hospital in Tehran, which reportedly forced the emergency transfer of infants in incubators and fetuses from neonatal and maternity units. “Hospitals, maternity wards, newborn babies, pregnant women, and medical personnel must never become targets in war,” Chinappi stressed. He described such attacks as acts of extreme cruelty and a direct affront to the fundamental protections of international law.

At this painful moment, Chinappi stood in solidarity with the families of the victims, the people of Minab, the patients and staff of Gandhi Hospital, and all Iranians enduring loss and suffering. He offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and called for their memory to be honored through truth, justice, and a firm commitment to prevent such crimes from ever being repeated.
