How Did the Assassination Begin?
According to informed sources, around 11:00 AM, law enforcement forces in Mehrestan city were targeted by a terrorist attack, during which one law enforcement officer named Shahriari was martyred and another was injured.
After the incident, the news of the attack on law enforcement forces spread throughout the city. Martyr Afsaneh Aqila, who was present at the IRGC headquarters in Mehrestan at the time, became aware of the incident.
Since her husband was also an employee of the law enforcement complex in Mehrestan city, Martyr Aqila became worried about his condition after hearing the news of the attack and called her husband's mobile phone several times but received no answer.
Around 11:15 AM, still unaware of her husband's condition, she decided to leave the IRGC headquarters and go to the scene of the attack to find out the details; but her colleagues prevented her from leaving.
After a few more calls, Martyr Aqila's husband finally answered. He, who was deeply affected by the incident and the martyrdom of his colleague, sadly assured his wife that he was not harmed and was at the hospital.
Despite these explanations, Martyr Aqila's worry did not subside, and she decided to go to the hospital herself to ensure her husband's health.
She left the IRGC headquarters with a car at her disposal and headed to the hospital.
